Kalyan Singh Passes: Former UP CM Breaths Last 89 Years After a Long Illness
Kalyan Singh Passes : Former Uttar Pradesh Prime Minister and Governor Rajasthan Kalyan Singh breathed his last on Saturday after a long battle with illness. A senior BJP leader was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences in a critical condition since July 4. Despite treatment for more than two months, his condition did not improve, and he passed away on Saturday evening from sepsis and multiple sclerosis.
Kalalyan Singh passes away
Born January 5, 1932, Kalyan Singh was an Indian politician who served twice as Prime Minister of Uttar Pradesh. He was appointed Prime Minister of Uttar Pradesh in 1991 but resigned in 1992. He became Prime Minister for a second term in 1997 but was removed in 1999 by the BJP. He was appointed Governor of Rajasthan in 2014. He has served the state for five to five years.
Following the news of the death of Kalayan Singh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his condolences.
“I am devastated. Kalalyan Singh Ji… is a country official, a veteran manager, a low-level leader and a great man. He leaves behind an indelible contribution to the development of Uttar Pradesh. She spoke to her son Shri Rajveer Singh and conveyed words of condolence. Om Shanti, ”said the Premier.
