Report: Cristiano Ronaldo commits to Man City; some stores say you live:The last hour or two on Monday in Europe was the time when Cristiano Ronaldo’s madness spread rumors that took the truth via Twitterverse. It was a time, in fact, that some of us expected it to happen a few weeks ago when Ronaldo’s Portuguese team was released from Euro 2020 just before their manager.

And that was before the first page of the Corriere dello Sport started making rounds.

According to Il Corriere, Ronaldo – who has yet to prove his worth at Juventus since the only way he can find himself, Paris Saint-Germain, has just signed another world star – has committed to Manchester City in the hope of leaving Turin this summer. Man City, closely linked to the top striker in Harry Kane, has been one of the few clubs in the world to spend real money this summer. (And you know why that is so.)

The irony in all of this is that on top of the Corriere dello Sport which is not at all reliable other respected media outlets like Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport Italia in his overnight transfer program and other Europeans have reported at the same time Monday night that Ronaldo is not going anywhere. And, on top of that, the potential domino effect of Kylian Mbappe’s move to PSG after the Frenchman moved to Real Madrid is unlikely as some – translating: the Spanish media – were doing it before the transfer window closed.

Also noteworthy, Spanish TV hotline El Chiringuito has reported that Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti also wants Ronaldo back at the club – which could mean that Florentino Perez has a sudden money in his hands.

So just imagine if these rumors of Ronaldo are true for a moment here. ‘Few clubs can afford to pay his salary in this COVID-affected economy, which means something about what he thinks of Juve’s strength this season and his overall happiness at the club as a whole.

Now all of that is just the beginning and we are trying to learn from the situation as we are thousands of miles away, but its time – especially with so many rumors coming from Spain – comes less than a week before the Juventus season begins and there are many other things Max Allegri could worry about right now.

Of course, knowing who Ronaldo’s agent is, unlike Jorge Mendes he will always try not to get his big client in good shape to get another chance in the Champions League glory as Ronaldo enters his 30s.
